The City of Houston Bikeway Program kicks off a month-long challenge. The 2008 National Bike Month is making a move in Houston during May. This month-long event features a challenge to Houston area bikers, Bike to Work Week, May 12-16, 2008, and Mayor Bill White's Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 16, 2008 as well as many more activities throughout the month. Ride to the park, to work, to school, to shop, to the library, join a corporate team on May 16th, take your pick and let us know where you plan to ride your bike. Fill out a Bike Month Registration Form and enter to win great prizes.
