DONATIONS NEEDED: bikes, bike parts, bike tools
Today the autonomous, indigenous communities of Chiapas, Mexico, invite you and your family to join the effort to create unique educational opportunities for the Maya people. Individuals and organizations from many walks of life, from diverse religious and ethnic backgrounds, have come together to gather hope and collect funds and share knowledge to make the dream of an autonomous Maya education system possible. You are invited to join the Maya peoples” efforts to build dignified schools while promoting social justice in Mexico and the world. Join us Wednesday July 9, 2003 for an all-ages benefit show at Super Happy Fun Land (2610 Ashland Street). Cover is $5 OR Donation of the following supplies: bikes, bike parts, bike tools, school supplies, art supplies, gardening or sports equipment .
