Police are looking for the driver who fatally hit an 83-year-old man in north Houston.

(11/12/02) — Houston police are on the look out for a red pickup truck involved in a fatal hit and run. Police believe the truck's driver struck and killed an 83-year-old man as he rode a bicycle on north Shepherd. The victim may have been chasing a dog at the time.
The truck's driver fled the scene before police arrived. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

78-year-old bicyclist victim of hit-and-runA bicyclist killed by a hit-and-run driver in northwest Houston has been identified as Bennie B. Williams, 78, of the 500 block of Sikes. A red Dodge pickup struck Williams' bike in the 4500 block of North Shepherd near West 43rd about 7:10 p.m. Monday, witnesses said.
