Senior citizen dies when car strikes bike
An 83-year-old man has died after a car struck his bicycle in the 10800 block of Beechnut.
Thao Van Pham, of the 10500 block of Turtlewood Court, died at Ben Taub Hospital at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, about nine hours after the accident .
Pham and the 65-year-old Stafford man driving the car were leaving private driveways on opposite sides of the street.
