10-YEAR-OLD BICYCLIST KILLED IN CAR ACCIDENT
A 10-year-old bicyclist has died after being hit by a car in southwest Houston.
Mei R. Wilson, of the 7700 block of Barberton, died at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday at Ben Taub Hospital. He steered between two parked cars Monday, then entered the 7300 block of Mary Bates at an improper location and pedaled in front of an oncoming vehicle, police said.
The motorist, a Houston woman, 32, had two children in her car, police said.
