safe route - 2004/04/05 15:40 Hi
I live on the east side and will be riding to the west side was just wondering it my route seems safe to everone. I was planing on going all the way on beltway 8 to 290 to 529 to hwy 6. I'll start at beltway 8 and hwy 90 please let me know if anyone has gone this route and if beltway 8 feeder is safe for riding. thank you

safe route - 2004/04/06 10:15 That's a lot fo feeder road routes...I guess you're a pretty advance cyclist. I know folks who have ridden along the feeder road as part of her commute, while it was a short segment, she didn't have problems in the AM, only the PM. I've not ridden 529, are there shoulders?

safe route - 2004/04/12 12:33 Particular time of day is critical. Tollway feeder is very high-speed, like 55 mph+ in all lanes during rush hour. I wouldn't do it myself.
