Cycling stores in Houston area - 2008/06/05 22:11 Hi,

I'm visiting Houston for about six weeks and I'm interested in buying some components (wheels, crankset, etc) or maybe even a full bike.

The "problem" is I only ride Campagnolo and I would be looking for a Cervélo or a Time. Are there any good shops in Houston which sell products from these manufacturers?

Also, if anyone knows of a store which has a good selection of Rudy Project I would be a happy man.

Cheers,
Asbjørn

Well, try looking at the list of bike shops:

Bikesport on Joanel has lots of triathlon equipment.

Re:Cycling stores in Houston area - 2008/06/06 18:31 Yes, that's true. How did you guess that?

The list gave a few good pointers. Looks like I'll be heading down to Rice Village to browse around a bit.

Judging by what the shops have on their web sites, Time and Rudy don't seem to be all too common over here either.

Re:Cycling stores in Houston area - 2008/06/06 19:08 I wondered... why else would a Scandinavian guy spend 6 weeks in Houston, then I thought... maybe he works for us and is here for BUILD-IT! Looked in LDAP, there you were.

Re:Cycling stores in Houston area - 2008/06/06 19:16 There is a dealer locator using ZIP (postal) code:

http://www.rudyprojectusa.com/

What part of the city are you staying in?

Re:Cycling stores in Houston area - 2008/06/06 19:48 Hehe, good point there.

I tried the dealer locator, but had a hard time QCing the results. Plus I don't really know my way around the city yet.

I'm staying close to the Galeria.
