Downtown to the University of Houston - 2005/03/28 09:05
I rode from Downtown to the University of Houston along the official City bike route (Polk) on Good Friday, and did not encounter anything unusual at all, though traffic was very light. I was hung-up for a moment by a train on Cullen.
The only complication was at the end; I was trying to get to the UH Hilton Hotel on Calhoun, and Calhoun no longer connects to Elgin (hasn't in years), so I had to enter the UH campus near the architecture school (entrance #18 off of Elgin), and ride through campus to get to the Hilton.
