large bike missing after fell off car downtown - 2005/10/18 00:47
I'm passing this message on... just in case.
When leaving the Moonlight Ramble last night, my mountain bike fell off of my car's bike rack. I left George R. Brown at approx. 4:35 am and I noticed it was gone 10 minutes later when I stopped for gas.
The bike is a black 2005 Giant Yukon with a 25" frame and road slicks. I am 6'7" and that bicycle was fit for me and its size is the most distinguishing factor.
The route I took is GRB to Chartres St north. I followed the signs to get on 59 N, 59 N to 610 west, 610 west to 45 south. I noticed that the bike was missing before I got to I-10. I retraced my steps with no luck.
