David Mincberg, Candidate for County Judge writes - 2008/01/10 04:04
In personal emails to me, David Mincberg Candidatefor Harris County Judge, indicates that he is "In favor" of on-road facilities for bicyclists.
He also writes,
"Dear Mr. Wang,
Thanks for sending me your opinion on the necessity of sidewalks in your area. Not only do I think Harris County should be mandating sidewalks, I think a combination of roads and access is necessary to make an area inviting and livable. The Houston Chronicle on 11/22/07 quoted the exec director of The Park People as follows:
We want to be able to accommodate bikers, walkers and Rollerbladers, and having trails is a good first step to making the area inviting.
My plan is to take a comprehensive approach to providing all facilities to all areas of the County, regardless of income level and regardless of cost of housing.
