On June 18, 2008 in the early morning around 4:30 a.m. - 5:00 a.m., a woman was accosted on North Braeswood and Braes Bayou, on the jogging trail, near Endicott. The attacker was male. No race or age was determined. The woman used pepper spray on the man and he ran off.
That's why they were patrolling the trail around Endicott. I would image the 265 P&R to Fondren is the toughest part of your commute. I've never had any harrassment issues while commuting from my area into downtown. I probably wouldn't handle it very well.
