The City of Houston Bikeway Program will conduct six public meetings to present a series of bike projects to the public.

MEETING DATES & LOCATIONS: Thursday, August 15, 2002, anytime between 6-8 p.m. Buffalo Bayou West, Heights & Northside Bike Trails West End Multi-Service Center, Bldg. 3 Auditorium, 170 Heights Blvd.

Monday, August 19, 2002, anytime between 6-8 p.m. Keegans Bayou & Brays Bayou Bike Trails Jewish Community Center, 5601 Braeswood

Tuesday, August 20, 2002, anytime between 6-8 p.m. Westchase Bike Trail Tracy Gee Community Center, 3599 West Center Cr.

Tuesday, August 27, 2002, anytime between 6-8p.m. Buffalo Bayou East Bike Trail (Houston Heritage Trail) University of Houston, One main Street, White Oak Room A-300

Thursday, August 29, 2002, anytime between 6-8 p.m. Halls Bayou Bike Trail Tidwell Park, 9720 Spaulding

Thursday, August, 22, 2002, anytime between 6-8 p.m. Columbia Tap Bike Trail Extension University of Houston’s Cullen College of Engineering Engineering Bldg. No. 1 Lobby (Campus Entrance No. 19)

The meeting format will be an open house style; therefore, individuals may attend at any time between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Exhibits and handouts showing the overall bikeway network, examples of trail and bridge design and trail alignment maps will be displayed at the meeting. Representatives from the City of Houston, Texas Department of Transportation, Harris County Flood Control District and the design team will be available for individual discussions with participants. Written comment forms will be available and may be submitted at the meetings. For those unable to attend one of the meetings, comments may also be mailed to Ms. Lilibeth Andre, Bicycle Pedestrian Coordinator, Houston Bikeway Program, P.O. Box 1562, Houston, Texas, 77251-1562.
