Residents urged to add their input at future meetings

Montrose residents can give input on the development of a bicycle and pedestrian-friendly site in the area.

*What's it about The Montrose Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan, a project designed to provide local and federal funds to improve mobility in Montrose.
* Next meeting: July 21 at Anderson Hall on the University of St. Thomas campus. Open to residents to share ideas to make Montrose more pedestrian- and bike-friendly. For more information on the Montrose Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan, visit www.livablemontrose.org.

Montrose residents can decide what path to take in creating a pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly environment in the area. The Houston-Galveston Area Council played host to a stakeholders meeting last week to inform public officials and civic groups of the Montrose Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan, a project designed to provide local and federal funds to improve mobility in Montrose.
