BikeHouston’s invites you to attend their Annual Meeting on Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at 6:30 p.m., in the Houston Environmental Center, 3015 Richmond, 1st floor conference room. Please join them in their efforts to make Houston safe and accessible for cyclists. Food and refreshments will be provided by El Meson. The meeting start time is 6:30 p.m..
The guest speaker will be David Crossley, President of the Gulf Coast Institute. Crossley’s topic will focus on , “Green Cities, Garden Cities, A New Paradigm for Sustainable Prosperity in Houston”. Crossley has been involved in Houston’s city life since the 1970’s. He has been involved with input into the development of the regional transportation plan as this work has evolved into Envision Houston 2035, a new approach to future planning for the Houston-Galveston area.
BikeHouston is a local Houston organization promoting bike access, safe bicycling, education, and public awareness of the personal and community benefits of cycling.
