The annual BikeHouston meeting is Tuesday, January 25 at the Houston Environmental Center, 3015 Richmond, 1st floor conference room at 7:00 p.m. Come early for the social hour with snacks and drinks beginning at 6:00 p.m. Admission is FREE! You can also join BikeHouston or renew your current membership at the meeting. All are welcome to attend!
The speaker will be Clark Martinson of the Energy Corridor District. Clark has worked diligently over the last few years to create a bicycle friendly enviornment among the energy companies on the west side of town. He has done this by creating shared use pathways between buildings and campuses, cementing partnerships, and encouraging commuting by bicycle. Come hear about this great success story!
BikeHouston will also be holding annual board elections. It is important for our members to meet prospective board members and to cast your votes.
2005 is going to be a great year in cycling!! Please join us to hear more about BH's goals for this year and how you can get involved. |
