BikeHouston Conducts Bike Safety Training at Baylor College of Medicine |

On Saturday, April 9th BikeHouston assisted the Baylor College of Medicine Obesity Program with a bicycle safety event for 20 students at Hermann Park. Special thanks to Dan Raine of the Houston-Galveston Area Council and Adam Hamza of the Gulf Coast Cycling Association for fitting the children to their new bicycles they received as a reward for participating in the program. Gail Wellenkamp and Regina Garcia were there to fit helmets. Bicycle patrol officers from the Houston Parks Department gave the children safety tips and led a fun, safe ride around the park.
