Join us on Wednesday, October 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Grove in Downtown Houston for Soirée du Vélo, BikeHouston’s annual benefit.
Year after year, we host a soirée to bring together bike-minded Houstonians from across the Bayou City to celebrate the joy of traveling on two wheels in Houston. In addition to great company, we’ll also have beer and wine, passed hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, an awards program, and a DJ.
Space is limited, so get your tickets now!

Freewheels Houston
Organization of the Year
Rodney Ellis
Bob Stein Award for Public Service
The Bob Stein Award for Public Service is a new award named in honor of Rice University political scientist and former BikeHouston board member Robert M. “Bob” Stein who passed away in July. Stein was known not only as an expert in electoral politics, but also as "a trailblazer in popularizing bicycling in our region." The Bob Stein Award for Public Service will be given each year to an elected official who exemplifies principled civic leadership and, of course, a commitment to improving conditions for bicycling in Houston.
