Wednesday, May 20 @ 7:00 PM
Each year on the third Wednesday in May, riders around the world partake in the Ride of Silence to show respect for and honor the lives of those who have been killed or injured while biking, and to raise the awareness of motorists, police and city officials that cyclists have a legal right to the public roadways.
Join BikeHouston and our partners in the biking community on Wed. May 20th, 2026 at 7:00 PM at City Hall, as we lead a ride to remember our fellow cyclists who have been injured or killed while biking in Houston. The Ride of Silence is a free ride that asks its cyclists to:
wear white;
ride no faster than 12 mph;
wear helmets;
follow the rules of the road; and
remain silent during the ride.
